This trip is rated as very easy, meaning there is practically no walking involved to get to the location and the terrain is easy to navigate

Experience Level - Beginner

  • The class and workshop are suitable for any level, including beginners. Ideally you will understand exposure, aperture and be shooting in Aperture Priority or Manual Exposure mode.

Equipment for this workshop

What to bring:

  • Your camera, fully charged battery and spare battery if you have one.

  • Remote Release Cable to take/time shots without touching the camera.

  • A wide angle lens to ensure the castle ruins are in the foreground underneath the fireworks - Any focal length between 10mm-24mm is suitable.

  • Tripod (essential) I can hire you one for the session at the cost of £10 but let me know in advance if you want one.

  • Sensible footwear – it can sometimes be muddy and sticky underfoot so walking boots or trainers with good grip are recommended.
